And I am getting old...

Besides the fact that I just had a birthday, I know for sure I am getting old when:

1. The radio station starts playing Jonas Brothers and Vanessa Hudgens and I become judgemental. Like c'mon, a respectable radio station should NOT be playing Disney Channel merchandise!

2. I get disgusted looking at teenagers getting touchy-feely and I feel like I should call and report this indecent behaviour to their parents.

3. I subconsciously wish for the teenage boys walking down the street to go get a haircut for goodness sake.

4. I start to wonder out loud when would the artist formerly known as Prince would cut a new album.

5. My kids ask me who Prince is.

6. I admire Madonna's stamina and great bod at the age of 50 (or maybe she is slightly older?).

7. In my mind, I trash-talk a colleague who is lamenting about "hitting the big 3-0".

8. I think low-rise jeans should be banned, I have had enough of being an involuntary witness to too many a butt-crack.

9. I take an increasing number of multivitamins and supplements.

10. I start worrying about the height of my heels.

I just turned 47; you won't get too much sympathy here - I'm in the same boat. ;)

Re #3, I saw a young Malay boy with the oddest hair dye job recently. He had added vertical stripes all around his head; seriously, his hair looked like a jar of Smuckers PB&J.

I don't know about these kids with that hair... I saw a girl with super pink hair this morning. She nearly gave me a heart attack, oh my poor, old, weak heart!
