Time sure whizzes past. Before you know it, we are at the start of May, almost halfway through 2008.
In many countries/cities, May 1 is Labour Day or May Day. A day where the working population gets a day off and unionists recap and take stock of their success. Well, at least judging by the local newspaper reports. The same paper which also splashed front-page no less, of one man's effort to create thousands of jobs as if he single-handedly performed these miracles. Give me a break, already.
So anyways, thinking out loud. May Day is a day for workers. But why is it, at least in the movies, when captains of ship or planes need emergency help, they scream "May Day! May Day!" ? Hehe.
