S.U.D.

That's a new disease I have. It's short for Seriously Uninspired Disease. It had to be acronym-ed because ALL important things in life are. I am exhausted from working too hard at the office and at home. I can feel my mojo evaporating faster than a speeding bullet.

A couple of days more to go before I leave my current job and it's still B.A.U(1). Everyone knows I'll be gone soon, but no one's stepping on the brakes as far as work goes. The good thing is that I've been also kept busy with farewell lunches and tea breaks. Free food ain't bad and I'm feelin' the lurve. BURP(5).

For now, it's back to the grind and getting my H.O.D
(2) as comprehensive as possible so that whoever takes over can hit the ground running.

On the home front, I am seriously considering make a fruit tart this weekend. I found an I.P.R
(3) and I *think* I can follow the six simple steps, but the nightmare of the botched roast chicken still haunts me. I am scarred for life; I can still hear the kids' voices ringing in my ears, begging to be spared of partaking.

But I hope to G.O.I
(4)soon. Get over S.U.D especially.

1. Business As Usual
2. Hand-Over Document
3. Idiot-Proof Recipe
4. Get Over It
5. Fooled ya, it's just gas.

hi bik,

i understand what you're going thru. i had the same experience last week. well not really the same la. :P

Work was getting on my nerves, so i decided to cook on the weekends (they say its therapy). I made chawanmushi but after 20 minutes of steaming i realised i didnt add any water to it.

So i had hard-steamed egg for lunch.

I'm still trying to G.O.I
