So the entire family sat down to watch American Idol results show last night. It's an encore from earlier in the day of course since we were either at school or work when the live telecast was shown. Can I just say that much as I like David the small boy, David the winner actually rocked the house?
And the show had me glued to the television because I cannot believe the amount of guest performers they had on. I was so thrilled to see sooo many oldies on that show! Graham Nash! I can't even remember how long ago I've seen him on TV. That song, Teach Your Children Well, is sooo gorgeous. And that girl who sang with him, why doesn't she have any shoes on??
Then there were Seal and Bryan Adams. I heart them both very much. The husband heart heart Bryan Adams. His songs, rather :P And then of course George Michael!! Man, I was soo entertained. Much to the amusement of the kids. They don't even know who Gladys Knight is...
But Farah got really excited when Jonas Brothers was on. Remind of me the Osmonds really. She was telling me Miley Cyrus is seeing one of them. I just think, wait till your voice breaks and you get acne, boys!
Farah wanted David Archuletta to win. But I think he doesn't have that superstar presence, unlike the winner. He rocked it with ZZ Top.
Now that I have gotten this out of my system, have a great weekend everyone!

I'm soooo glad all that nonsense is over. Milady loves A.I., and was watching the marathon most of Saturday and Sunday. Me, I'm like "Aaah, seven months now of no American Idol." :)
Gasp! Nonsense? AI is not nonsense! Paula Abdul may spout some, but not the show! And come on, you *have* to admit that it is entertaining, especially that Simon Cowell. I wish I had his guts to always tell it like it is.
i noticed simon likes to do that winking thing. thinks he overdoes that.
anyway yeah, david cook deserved to win this edition. he has more presence.
can't stand david archileda's goody goody two shoes demeanor. gotta admit the guy can sing though.
chicky and i were like "thank F^%$" when jason castro got booted off. he was just there at the last few NOT because of his vocal ability.
shyesha may not have it in her to win the whole thing but we thought she got more flak than she deserved.
not really an idol fan either but it's something both chicky and i watch together to byatch.
