Sara turned five on Tuesday. We are having this big shbang party we promised her, tomorrow afternoon. At the last count, we are expecting 14 kids and double the number of adults coming. We're having this at home so I anticipate personal space will be non-existent from the hours of 2 to 5pm tomorrow.
It'll be a Princess theme party which by default will also mean everything will be in pink. I grudgingly agreed to the Princess theme only after she whined and pleaded and whined some more, for it. The thought of being a Princess (hence, waiting to be saved by a knight in shining armour) just does not sit well with me. But I have been told that I over-react and she's a girl and please take a chill pill and let her enjoy girlie things.
The entire house will be decked in PINK. Everywhere you turn, there will be something pink. I warned parents who are coming with boys that their boys will be giddy with all the princessy and pink things in the house. As for the cake, the birthday girl has asked for a Disney princess pictured-heart-shaped ice cream cake.
We have a handbag-shaped pinata and some other games the husband will be organising. I've asked him for the game list and he couldn't cough it up. It's clear it'll be a go-with-the-flow kinda thing with him. Everything else is ready. Will post some pics.
