Self destruction

I am down with tonsillitis (warning - the link has a gross picture of an infected tonsil). According to my GP, I am classified as "regular tonsillitis sufferer". I feel so special *rolling my eyes* and I didn't even know they had such a term, but hey, you learn something new everyday. I'm not in debilitating pain, since I saw the GP before the entire body went on strike, but I do have a bit of body ache and my throat is a bit uncomfortable.

And then of course, at lunch today, we celebrated Mrs Bhutia's birthday and had blisteringly spicy Thai food. It was yummylicious and I knew it was not good for me in my current condition, but hey, I self destruct really well.

So now, my throat is hurting, I feel a fever coming up and my body is still aching and work is piling up. Some one tell me, when is the weekend coming?
