Thank you...

...for returning the sun. It's lovely to feel its warmth, to see the blue skies and to hear the birds chirping.

We just had a blizzard. And aparently we might get another foot of snow tomorrow or the next day. As much as I like snow, being trapped inside for three days with nothing to do but shovel and watch snow fall was no fun. You don't appreciate the sun until you get tired of the rainstorm, even if you like rainy weather. We all need the sun to survive and it sure helps peoples' moods. Hope it comes back for a while!

It's been raining hard here, and we've had flash floods in parts of Singapore, with more serious flooding incidents in the neighbouring countries. A snow blizzard ain't that much fun, either. I was caught in a snow storm in New York a couple of years back and I still remember how that felt.

To top it all off, we are in the middle of another blizzard a week later. This isn't normal for Colorado, though its interesting people watching to see people react.

Seriously, taking a Toyota Matrix out in three feet of snow is a BAD idea, I don't care if you have front wheel drive. Also, those six gallons of milk are gonna go bad before you drink them, cuz the average person isn't housebound for more than two days. Groupthink + panic = good laughs at people that don't know you are laughing at them.

Panic buying brings out the worse in people! Keep warm!
