It's official, peoples. The last couple of days, I was down with SAHM-envy. And the object of my envy is my sister-in-law. She used to be a nurse at the ICU before she decided to be a SAHM, about 10 years ago.
Her house is always neat and tidy, despite having three kids (13, 9 and 7), she can make a wonderful meal out of nothing, she plans games and activities for her kids and she runs a small catering business on the side. Go figure. So my kids, who were invited to a sleepover, ended up having a 2-1/2 day fun camp, making me feel left out.
And how does a left out SAHM wanna-be deal with the situation? She goes to Vivo City! Where she picks up a very nice pair of shoes from Zara. Retail therapy helps. But of course, the monster-size of the mall was too much for her and, because she has the navigational skills of a marble, she got lost and walked around for 30mins to find the taxi stand. Not that it bothered her, as she peeks from shop to shop.
