I've snapped out of my pity party and have been enjoying my time with the kiddies. I took the kids home from my sister-in-law's and politely declined another invite to stick around for a few more days, thankyouverymuch.
Thus far we've cooked dinner, cleaned up, tidied up the house and did the laundry together. Last night we had a pyjama party in my room watching Ant Bully. We wanted to hit the pool yesterday and this afternoon, if not for the rain.
This afternoon we went to see Open Season at the nearby cineplex. Fun for the kids, although I had to struggle not to fall asleep.
So tonight, we're making dinner again, and then we'll pack for our holiday in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. We're supposed to drive up tonight, but the husband who's in Jakarta right now, had to postpone his flight home to tomorrow morning.
We'll make a pit stop in Melaka to drop off some stuff I bought for that house which we are furnishing slowly, and then drive on to Kuala Lumpur. I'll be doing much of that driving since the husband would have just flown home. Will try not to burn too much rubber!
