Sara, all decked out in her kindergarten uniform. She was looking forward to seeing her friends from last year. Unfortunately, the kids are in different sessions this year. But she didn't seem too perturbed and is slowly making new friends.
Farah and Danial, on the way to school. Farah is sporting her new funky pink frame glasses. Danial looking relaxed, and in good hands. Check out Sara, wishing she's part of the excitement.

I didn't have to wear uniforms in Kindergarten. We went for a half day, and on the first day, I met the principal. He was a large man, very friendly at times, but, like most pricipals, not to be crossed. He asked me in a big, booming voice if I was afraid on my first day of school. I said I wasn't. Not one tiny bit. I wasn't really, and I don't think he bought it, cuz I stood really close to my mom. On the first day of First Grade, however, a friend found my seat for me, and I tried to get my mom to leave as quickly as possible. Funny how things change. You want to act all grown up -until you are a grownup.
Absolutely.
On uniforms - those are BIG in Singapore. All schools here have uniforms - some better designed and colour coordinated than others.
