Sara is not receptive to the new helper. She's been crying in the morning before I leave for the office and calling me at least five times before she leaves for school and then some more calls after she returns from school. She told me last night she's been crying herself to sleep in the afternoons when she's "all alone".

I'm encouraging the new helper to bond with Sara. And I can see the helper is trying her darn-est to win Sara over. But my little munchkin is one tough cookie and she ain't easy to please. The husband said the apple does not fall far from the tree. I took that as a compliment, of course.

And hey, it's Friday. Feel like I'm really ready to crash like this guy.
