The state of affairs

To those of you wondering if I've fallen off the face of earth, fret not. I haven't. And I haven't been kidnapped and then rescued by Jason Bourne either - dammit, I could wish, couldn't I?

There are a couple of things happening at work. Some good, some so-so. One of which is putting me in a dilemma - should I or shouldn't I follow my heart and specialise in a role that calls for more travel and responsibilities? Or should I contend with the role that I have and make a difference here, even though I think I can take on more? So, lots of questions but no answers yet. And not quite earth shattering.

The kids have all finished their exams, thank goodness. Whenever I see them study especially for their exam papers, I'm glad I'm not in school anymore. Farah will be sitting for her PSLE exams sometime early October. She has a tutor for Math and Science and I help her with English. The husband helps with Math homework when the tutor is not around. But whenever she needs comic relief from her homework, she comes to me with these really difficult Math questions. She thinks I give hilarious answers to the questions, not knowing that sometimes, I did not intend for them to be funny. Sigh.
