Muffy is a black and white bunny I got for Sara. She is a very well-behaved bunny and usually can be found at the corner of Sara's room.
This is me caving in to pressure by my 4 year old who badly wanted a pet. I didn't want one in the house, I didn't want to have to deal with cleaning up and looking after an animal. I know, I could teach the kids all about responsibility by getting them to be involved in cleaning and feeding the pet, but the risk of me having to undertake this responsibility is still there. And we are talking about a live animal here.
Sara has a leash around Muffy and takes her out for a walk around the house everyday. We only need to change the batteries underneath her belly (Muffy's, not Sara's) when we see her struggling to walk. And because Muffy does not eat nor drink, no pee or poop is involved.
Muffy is a great compromise. The little girl is happy and I'm satisfied. All is well in our world :)

let's just hope she won't get 'bored' of Muffy!
I'm sure she will. Better she gets bored with a battery-not-included Muffy than one that lives and breathes, I say!
