That's my new nickname. The husband thinks it's amusing, not sure if I find it to be that funny.
The kids love to give me cuddles, more so than they like to cuddle their daddy. And a couple of nights ago, the husband, feeling left out, asked the kids what makes mummy much more fun to cuddle. The unanimous answer came through from all three -- "Because mummy is soft and cuddly. And mummy's arms and tummy are soft like jelly!"
Hmmm. Of course my soft and jelly-like body is in stark contrast to the husband's who runs daily and plays rugby regularly.
So, while I have made a mental note to start a jogging routine (soon...), for now I might as well enjoy the many hugs and cuddles as much as I can.

That just throws social images out the window. The question is: is it better to be tall, thin, beautiful, and socially commended for it, or to be loved by your kids for who you are?
My mom is a little more "well padded" than my tall, thin, and bony father, and though Dad was a better reader of night time stories, we used to love to lean against Mom while Dad read. It was comfier. No big, calloused and coarse feet in the way for one thing.
That answers the question for me!
Oh so true, and so well said! You made my day!
